Tom Brady looked right at home shooting a golf scene with the stars of HBO's "Entourage" this week in LA. In the episode, the Pats QB and Mark Wahlberg both play themselves at a celebrity golf tournament benefiting Autism Speaks. Brady and Wahlberg - wearing a hat bearing Tom Brady's TB logo - have a laugh at Kevin Dillon's colorful character Johnny Drama as he tees off alongside Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). No word on when the episode will air. Brady's also appeared on "SNL," "The Simpsons," and "Stuck on You." (Boston Globe)

Mark Wahlberg: Get Off Jeremy Piven's Back!

E!
Mark Wahlberg says Jeremy Piven doesn't deserve the scrutiny he's been getting over his mercury-poisoning controversy.

Wahlberg, a producer of Entourage, has remained pretty much mum over the Piven ordeal, but earlier today he jumped to his defense. Wahlberg insisted the actor was not making up excuses to leave the Broadway revival of Speed-the-Plow when he announced that doctors had advised him to quit the show.

"It's unfortunate. There's no one more disappointed about it than him," Wahlberg told us at the Callaway Golf Foundation's pro-celebrity tournament benefiting the Entertainment Industry Foundation's cancer research programs.

"He was so excited," Wahlberg continued, adding, "It's his first love and he was more disappointed than anybody. He's getting a lot of flack about it and it's really unnecessary." More...

Tom Brady in Entourage next season

Fox News
Let’s hope the injured Patriot isn’t too embarrassed to make a cameo in the next season of the hit HBO series "Entourage" now that he has some spare time on his hands. Although the fifth season has already been shot, fellow Boston-born boy (and the show’s producer) Mark Wahlberg has Brady down for the sixth season.

"Tom's available, we're definitely going to get him in there at some point. He's a big fan of the show and we've had some amazing cameos this year, Martin Scorsese will be appearing, Gus Vansen, Jason Patrick, Martin Landau is coming back and quite a few new ones," Wahlberg told Tarts while promoting his new hard-core thriller "Max Payne".

But speaking of Grenier, Connelly, Piven and the pack, Wahlberg also added that these Hollywood boys are basically wusses.

"None of them are tough so I tell them to try to talk their way out of fights," he said. "Or get a gun, but none of them are tough."

Short Q & A about cars

MSNBC:
Mark Wahlberg
Executive producer of "Entourage"

Q: What was your first car?
A: A Volkswagen Bug was the first car I'd ever bought, but the first legal car I ever had was a '75 Cutlass Supreme. I sold it. I smashed it and sold it.

Q: What is your dream car?
A: An electric Cadillac Escalade. Hopefully, Cadillac will be working on that. If we had listened to Jimmy Carter, we'd have some great electric cars right now.

Luke Wilson on Entourage

Starpulse
Actor Luke Wilson was once attacked by a Russian mobster in his mid-70s while filming a guest spot in an episode of Entourage in 2004. The 35-year-old was invited to watch a boxing match on the day of shooting and found himself beaten up by a senior citizen.

Wilson says, "We had great seats, second row. I was sitting behind these... I think they were Russian mobsters. I'm pretty sure they were. But they were standing on their seats the entire fight. And they were on the front row so people were going crazy behind us, throwing stuff at them which was hitting us, popcorn and beer.

"I got madder and madder throughout the whole fight and I finally just tapped one guy on the shoulder and said, 'You need to sit down.' I thought he was the leader so maybe he could talk to the other guys. He spun around and said something about my mother. And I said something about his grandmother, trying to trump him.

"From the corner, a guy who had have been in his mid-70s slapped me so hard. Everything just stopped, people weren't watching the fight. And when my head came back (up from punch) looked at him: 'This guy is so old, and he just hit me so hard.' And then the fight ended so there was chaos between me and them.

"I got pulled out by security and then later in the night had to do the scene. Mark Wahlberg was there - he produces the show - and he was like, 'I heard you got slapped by some guy...' I was like, 'No, the guy took a shot but I was able to move my head so he just grazed my chin.'"
